--

This article provides a detailed, step-by-step process for utilizing the Glyph Exchange Testnet to claim testnet tokens, create a Fair C-20 asset, mint tokens, and burn token.

Step 1: Claiming Testnet Tokens

To begin, you must acquire testnet tokens to cover transaction fees. Navigate to the official Glyph Exchange Testnet website at https://testnet.glyph.exchange/. It is imperative to verify the URL to safeguard against phishing attempts and fraudulent platforms.

Proceed to the Points page, which serves as the central hub for managing rewards and faucet claims.

Locate the purple orb and click it to claim testnet $CORE, a necessary resource for subsequent gas fees.

Scroll down, connect your wallet, and complete the claim process.

Note: Testnet $CORE claims are limited to once every 24 hours, with the cycle resetting daily at 12:00 AM UTC. Plan your activities accordingly to ensure availability of funds.

Step 2: Creating a Fair C-20 Token

With testnet $CORE secured, the next step is to create your Fair C-20 token. Access the Fair C-20 landing page on the Testnet platform, where token creation and management occur.

Select “Create New Token” and enter the required details:

Ticker: The symbol for your token (e.g. $Glyph).

Total Supply: The total number of tokens to be issued.

Mint Limits: A minimum of 10 tokens per wallet is required, though higher limits may be specified if desired.

Additionally, include a description for your token. A well-crafted description can enhance its appeal to potential supporters and align with your project’s objectives.

Review all entered information carefully, then click “Create Asset”.

A confirmation prompt will appear — approve the transaction to initiate deployment. Upon successful confirmation, your token will be listed on the Mint page.

Step 3: Minting Tokens

The minting process allows you to issue tokens to your wallet or others. Visit the Mint page to monitor your token’s progress or mint additional units.

For illustrative purposes, consider $Coretest as an example.

-Select the token, input the desired amount — such as a maximum of 10 tokens
-Click “Preview Order” to review the transaction details. A nominal fee in testnet $CORE will be required.
-When prompted, confirm the transaction.

Step4: Burning Tokens

-On the burn page, select the token you wish to burn — $Coretest, in this example.
-Enter the amount, and check carefully how many core you will receive
-Check the preview and confirm redemption if there are no any problem
-Confirm the pop up message: transaction approval
-Finished redemption

Complete tasks, climb the leaderboard, and prepare for Glyph’s mainnet launch where your efforts could turn into rewards.
